(d) Condoms are barriers made of thin rubber/latex sheath used to cover the penis in the male or vagina and cervix in females. It prevents the deposition of ejaculated semen into the vagina of the female.
Condom should be discarded after a single-use. It is also a safeguard against transmission of AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). Condom should be used regularly and put on before starting coital activity, otherwise, sperm containing lubricating fluid may be left in the vagina. They do not interfere with coital act.
